This will not be the first nor the last "beginner's guide" available to the public, so I've decided to share my experience and knowledge. Hopefully, this writing will help you make your first step in the right direction and fly high in the hobby! [Last Updated: 20/04/2024]

TLDR:
Step 1: Get a decent radio transmitter and a simulator to practice with. DO NOT try to skip this step.
           - Reliable radio transmitter brands: Any Radiomaster and a few Jumper radios. DO NOT buy DJI Remotes
Step 2: Do your own research and find a video system you can afford in mid-long term.
          - Main video systems in the market: Analog | Digital: DJI, Walksnail, HDZero, OpenIPC
Step 3: Get a set of goggles. Goggles are for mid-long term, make note of upgradability of each model.
            - Online communities and forums such as Discord servers, subreddits, intoFPV, etc. come in very handy to get authentic user experience of each brand/goggles model.
Step 4: If you plan to build a drone, look into what equipment you need. i.e. soldering equipment, 3D printer, screwdriver sets, etc.
Step 5: Create a spreadsheet such as this to keep track of your build parts.
